I'm back from being MIA....again.
Life is awesome. Salt Lake City is treating me right, things are amazing at work, photography is going very well, and I'm meeting new friends and experiencing many blog-worthy moments. Subsequently, I feel like I have significantly less time to actually blog those moments. This isn't frustrating to me, even though I do wish I could somehow program my body to go without sleep to get an extra eight hours per day to be awesome. Here's a little recap of what's been going on in this life o' mine:
+ I traveled to California in late July to attend and photograph a friend's wedding. Those photos are almost completed, keep an eye out for them on a blog near you!
+ I am headed to California AGAIN this weekend to photograph another wedding! Will also be spending time with family and hopefully heading to the beach.
+ I found out that I'll be traveling around quite a bit this and next year for my new job - working in the beauty industry for a company that sells hair extensions. Surprised? Well, I love it. My first "business trip" is this coming October to Birmingham, Alabama.
+ Photography is going very well. I'm getting multiple inquiries a week, most of which I am booking. It's becoming more and more like a full-time-job, which is both exciting and scary because I already have one of those. Blogging is also a full time job, which is why I sometimes feel like I don't have time for all three. We'll see how the balancing act goes.
+ Two of my very best friends live in Utah with their husbands. We all got together over the weekend at my place for a dinner party - I love that we can all be together here.
+ Our apartment is really starting to feel like home. I was pretty skeptical about the place in the beginning (Steven found it while I was still finishing school in California.) The living room is very nearly finished, though I imagine it never really will be. I'll start working on the bedroom next.
+ I'm thoroughly loving life! I'm giving myself gray hairs and essentially have no left over time, but you can sure bet that I'm going to try and fit more and more in to each day. I've just started to master the yoga-at-six-am-before-work thing, which took several weeks before I could actually drag myself out of bed enough days in a row to call it a routine. Next will be half marathon training in the evening, probably around 9 PM because it's still so dang hot during the day.
And that's my life right now. What have you all been up to?
