Train Song

I listened to this song on my train ride from Frankfurt to Karlsruhe yesterday.
It fit so perfectly with the scenery I hit repeat at least three times. Have a listen and let me know if you feel the same way!

I love riding trains. They are so much smoother than cars and you can read without starting to feel sick. The scenery is always so much better, too, since you're cutting directly across countryside opposed to driving on the Autobahn. Several hours of my Saturday were spent on trains all by my lonesome, leaning against the window and staring out at the world as it rushed by.

I really quite enjoyed myself.
How do you feel about trains? Love 'em or hate 'em?

That song is beautiful Daryl. Officially adding that one to my summer playlist haha! And about trains - I'm kind of in the middle. I do prefer them to long car journeys, but I do hate the tube in London...so I suppose it depends on where I'm going!

i'm scared of trains actually. but just when i'm not on them and they're barreling towards/past me. i rode on them a bunch last summer when i lived in france and didn't mind that, so i guess i'm a weird person. ha.

but this song is the perfect train song! it's a perfect relaxing summer song.

I still love getting the train, even though I have to do it every weekday to get to college. The enjoyment has never worn off for me (that makes me sound super sad!)

I love this song Daryl! I traveled via train from Florance to Paris a few years ago and it was lovely. I love the smooth ride and the cold air from the mountains. I would so do it again! I am so glad you are having such a wonderful time!

Definite travel song. We just got back from vacation and could have used this song for our 9 hour drive lol :) That scenery is so pretty and relaxing! I've never been on a train but would love to someday :)

I used to love riding trains when I didn't do it every single day, twice a day. Ah...the commute...I'm afraid it really has killed my love affair with trains.

Hi, I'm a new reader but I enjoy your blog so much! You can really share an emotion, the song and the pictures make me think of what I love about travelling by myself.

Love trains! It's my favorite way to get around. Especially since it's the only type of transportation that doesn't trigger my motion sickness :D You chose a beautiful route too. I took the train from Frankfurt to Karlsruhe (and further) two weeks ago and was so excited about the beautiful scenery. Next time you travel on that route go a little further into the Black Forest. It'll take your breath away :)

Lovely photos! I also prefer trains to cars, but the only place I ever get to ride them is in England! wahh. I wish there were more where I lived!

I would like those shoes now, please.

Also, I love train travel. I think the good old US of A needs to get to work on making ours more accessible.
We be training it all over Europe this summer and I can't wait!
