In case you were wondering where my good looks come from...

My mother and I have had a lot of great years.

We've traveled the world together - we've climbed mountains in Greece and sampled crepes in Paris and explored jungles in Central America.

She gave me her thick black hair, her nose, her enthusiasm. 

I gave her a lot of sass.

We share a mutual love of Mexican food and talking a lot.

We've screamed at each other loud enough to crack crystal only to reconcile moments later,

cried together during sappy romantic movies,

and we've laughed. Oh, we've laughed so much.

We do not always agree on everything, but I think we can always agree on this:
