Jessica Chronichled

Hi Everyone! I am pleased to announce a new weekly series entitled Featured Favorite! This series is designed to introduce readers to more great bloggers...because we don't spend enough time on the internet already, right?  Please give it up for the beautiful Jessica of Jessica Chronicled. I've been reading her blog for a while now and it is so full of sweetness and joy, you can't help but smile. Plus, she has an adorable puppy so please read on if you like looking at cute things. (Who DOESN'T like looking at cute things?!) While we're on the topic of cute things, I relate to Jessica on a personal level because we both have incredibly sexy red-headed husbands...and we all know that sexy red headed husbands are the best kind. I mean really.

Hello Roots, Wings, and Other Things readers! I was thrilled to say the least when Daryl emailed me about receiving this award. Let's just say there was a lot of squealing, dancing, and husband telling me to sit down.

So I thought I would share a little bit about me, my blog, and the two boys in my life, husband and the pup.

Husband (Ryan) and I are still in our first year of marriage! Newlyweds, honeymooners, whatever you want to call us! We got married on July 30, 2011 at our home church and held our reception in a barn. Husband is a country boy and I'm always wearing heels, but we are the perfect balance for each other, especially with all my shyness and his ability to never meet a stranger.

We both like to cook, and neither of us like to do dishes. But he actually loves mowing the grass and I actually (kinda) like doing laundry. We both love movie nights and going out for Mexican food. And we're both dog lovers, which is why...

In February we adopted a little pup and named him Bear. He is the sunshine in my day with his little wagging tail every time I walk in the door and the way he really loves to snuggle on the couch late at night. He's been the perfect little addition to our family and we love him so much.

Probably one of the things I love to talk about most on the blog is style. I love it. I love lace, ruffles, chiffon, pumps, wedges, boots, and I consider leopard print to be a neutral (wear it with anything!) Besides that, you'll find me rambling about my marriage, the awkward moments in my life, being a pathological picture taker, having a heart for Jesus Christ, and my love for being creative. Oh and recently I've been posting a lot about this...

I'm graduating from college on May 6th! It's been a long ride but it's finally here and I can't wait to see what God has in store for the rest of my life! I hope you'll come check out my blog and check out all my other ramblings. And again, thanks so much Daryl for having me!
