I love my best friends. I’ve introduced them to you before – but let me do so again.
Kasey, on the far left, is one of the coolest people I know. She’s studying environmental science and will teach you all you need to know about organic foods and why crop rotation is important – she loves film photography and discovering new, local musicians – particularly of the acoustic variety.
Bri is center stage in the above photo, which is appropriate because she’s certainly center stage in life! She’s a 100% California girl with a strong love for hot sand, ocean waves and sunkissed skin. She’s magnetic – people just gravitate towards her effortlessly. I always go to her with questions about how to improve my fitness – as a workout guru and dietetics major, I think she’s pretty qualified.
Sierra, on the right, is down-to-earth and positively awesome. She’s the most soft spoken of the group but she’s by no means shy. Sierra traveled with me to Germany in 2010, a trip that led me to meet my now husband. Boy, did we make some good memories! She studies anthropology by day but is an expert pie baker by night – and I do mean expert, I’ve never tasted anything so good in my life!
These are my best friends, and I could not feel more blessed to have spent this past weekend with them. When thrift store shopping in downtown Ventura, we passed an exposed brick wall. I pulled them over and half forced them into a mini photo shoot, of which these photos are the result. All photos were taken with a Canon 1000D and a 50mm 1.8 lens in color and then converted to B&W using photoshop cs5.
Tell me what you think!
