I spent the first two and a half years of high school singing, dancing, and being creative. I went to a high school for the performing arts. I was in two to three acting classes per semester, as well as a fabulous journalism class, where I was able to make videos and anchor for the school's video announcements.

I decided to trade all of that in, halfway through my junior year, for a much more academic path at a special High School where you were able to take college courses for high school credit. I do not regret that decision at all...I learned more about myself, what I was capable of, who my friends were, and what I wanted in life in those last 1.5 years of high school than in my entire live previous.

Still. I miss those early high school days, sometimes.
When creativity completely ruled my life.
It is my pleasure to introduce you to the choir at Santa Susana High School. I don't know any person currently in it, I left the school too long ago for that - but let me tell you, these kids are so incredibly amazing.
They are participating in the Glee - Give a Note competition, and they need your votes to win.
I was so impressed by them. So impressed that I, a person with no remaining ties to Santa Susana High School, am going out of my way to ask you to help.
